I am reluctantly selling my 1999 Citroen Saxo VTR, which I have owned for over two years. I am only the second owner of this car, which was purchased from a Citroen dealer in High Wycombe and still have the proof of purchase. As you can see from the pictures the car is in excellent condition.

Shortly after purchasing the car I was contacted by Citroen for a recall on the dashboard clocks (the factory had fitted the wrong ones!) At the time the odometer was showing 23,236 miles, which should have been transferred onto the new clocks. This wasn't done, so although the current mileage is displaying 21k, the actual mileage is approx 44k. I have all the documentation and MOT's to prove this.

• Power assisted steering

• Central locking

• Factory fitted alarm

• MOT until April 2007

• Taxed until September 2006

• Full service history

• 4 new tyres were fitted at the beginning of April 2006

I have made a couple of subtle changes to the vehicle:

• Sony CD Head Unit - with removable fascia

• Infinity Door Speaker - these have replaced the originals in the door card

• Infinity Stealth Shelf fitted with 6"x9" Speakers - I will supply the original shelf which is unmolested

• Included in the sale is the 12" Vibe Sub box with built in amplifier

• The car has been professionally lowered by approx 35mm

• A Peco 4" stainless steel back box has been fitted

Also included is a custom made gear knob, this is one of a kind which was made for me by an acquaintance at an engineering firm near to me. Although I have no way of providing proof, the material used was from a left-over piece of alloy used for the manufacture of a suspension part for the McLaren Formula 1 car.
